Cindy has been the Director of the San Francisco Unified Lions Club from FY2023 to the present. She previously served as the SFULC officer as Marketing and Communications Chair.

Her volunteering journey began in the 1980s at Self Help for the Elderly, where she assisted in mapping the annual walkathon and lion dance fundraisers. Cindy led various volunteer and fundraising projects for SHE and worked as an interim secretary.  She has and continues to volunteer independently at multiple community organizations and manages various volunteer administrative roles.

Cindy is currently a Conference and Events Manager at the University of California, San Francisco, Radiology and Biomedical Imaging department.  She plans, executes, and manages all departmental conferences, lectures, symposiums, and events.  Cindy is active within various committees within UCSF and within the Bay Area community.  She is passionate about serving and strengthening the local community to build a better foundation.

Cindy upholds PRIDE (Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, Excellence) values at work and extends this practice outside of her work environment.  As the Director of San Francisco Unified Lions Foundation, she upholds her mission to serve regardless of how great or small the need may be.  Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion.
